Difficult enough to find one piece in good condition but here we have a *near* pair in excellent condition. The bowls were trialed for many years before he perfected the technique copying in the style of Chinese rice bowls from the Qianlong period. Careful and with a deft hand the woman were tasked with this special technique cutting small holes and finally polishing them so as to show off the rice.
