A real desirable object by Ando Jubei. This small arts & crafts hand crafted metal box with a moraige of enamel chrysathemums in two colours. The box stands on 4 small studded feet and has a textured feel/look. The interior is lined in an elegant material in gold and green. The base is marked with the masters signature.
I will provide a link to a wonderful article detailing the process of making these precious objects which also details the time taken to complete a master item. Chrysathemums are considered auspicious for the Japanese and a much beloved flower.
