Ottoman Empire porcelain Charger hand painted Flowers, cresent moon & star and gold gilding
description
This is an amazing find. A pair of large chargers handpainted in pink for the Ottoman Empire. Lozengers filled with handpainted flowers and gold gilding to the edges. The central part of charger with a fancy cartouch handpainted with the cresent moon and a star. The edges with a heavy gold gilding. No manufactures mark but i would hazard a guess to one the French manufactures due to the quality and the hard paste used for these charges. Dia: 33cm
