Sklo Union Clear glass vase by Frantisek Vizner for Libochovice c1964

A handsome clear glass vase designed by Frantisek Vizner for Libochvice c1964. Vizner was one of the leading designers who reached fame through his striking designs.

These pieces are unsigned. A signature would add a whole lot more and as one looks at his blown pieces as well as sculptures then the prices shoot up. These are not that easy to find. The vase shown as well as some of his other designs, i find, to be rather masculine but sharp and clean.
