Sumida Gawa Handled mug with two children and a peach….. c1900. This pottery jug hand made with a scene of two dimensional children (boy & girl ) walking along a rocky mountain reaching for the forbidden peach.

The jug is decorated in red with a high glaze drip of brown & beige.

Signed to the side on an attached plaque. C1900

Condition: The mug has a chip to the base and slight loss..here and there..of the red paint otherwise in good condition
