West German ceramic Jug by Schlossberg in black with colour panels c1970s

This wonderful piece by Schlossberg West Germany holds its own wherever it stands. The body is made of white clay and then glazed in black. Both side of the jug then painted with sails in various colours, which look like, the panels from the Sydney Opera House. Interesting that the Opera house was opened in 1973. Has its original sticker to the body as well as the base.
