I really love this jug by Steuler, it seems to have been taken to the local Patisserie for its decor. The jug is of red clay with yellow enamel banding over the mat black glaze and then scratched through the yellow stripes, allowing the red clay to show through. The mark was used up until 1959/60, thereafter they started using a different mark.
The jug certainly is of a more serious and higher quality item, considering that the later years where less controlled in elegant style. (my Opinion )
Condition: Very good. There are two minuscule scratches to the lip. Where the handle joins the body, is a small patch where there either loss or the paint did not take.
