A rare Aesthetic Movement quadruple silver plated Coffee pot by Wilcox Silver Plate Co. Conn. USA.
The pot is highly decorated with Roman soldiers fighting in the field. Beautifully etched with the handle ending in a snake tail. Marked to the base and dated c1867/98.
There are only two examples in the best museums in U.S.A. and have found none in the market place.
