The very best of French porcelain established c1750  in a soft paste and later to a hard paste.This is a super  Valenciennes dressing table pin tray hand painted with a ribbon of finely painted flowers and roses.  A gilt edge to the rim. This factory was owned by the King and most royalty purchased numerous items due to the brilliant white porcelain. Many of the best painters were employed displaying the very best style and fine painting.

The factory was incorporated into the Sevres manufactory which lasted up to and including the Napoleon reign.
