Worcester Teabowl c1770

According to Lawrence Branyan,Neal French & John Sandon in the book of Worcester blue and white porcelain,there are variations in this pattern. Noted is that Caughley also copied this pattern. It is stated that the Worcester example can have a A Worcester blue and white tea bowl in Chinese taste. A variation of the Strata Rock Pattern. Unmarked but when held up to the light there is a faint green tinge. c1770round or square window in the house. Lowestoft used the same pattern but then in a printed pattern.

This Worcester bowl is hand painted in under glaze blue. There is no crescent moon mark but the base shows a turned base which Worcester used in this pattern.
